Meet Your Weekday Personalities!
Chuck Denver is a 25-year broadcast professional. His only claim to fame is that he was born in Boulder, Co where his folks lived in the big white house portrayed on the beginning of the Mork & Mindy TV show. "Nanoo, Nanoo!" He began his career at a Country station in Knob Noster, MO (yes, there is such a place!). After a small 4 year stint in Des Moines, IA, he made the jump to Omaha, NE where he spent 12 years at KGOR-FM as a top rated Afternoon Drive host & Assistant Program Director. Later he became the afternoon news anchor for KFAB-AM. Chuck has worked in other formats including CHR-Top 40, Classic Rock & Adult Contemporary formats. He loves all kinds of music & believes the listener comes first. Hear Chuck during Mid-Days on Gold Hits 920/WKVA!
Carl Mann's radio career began in the 60s and reached a goal of working at Top 40 KOMA in Oklahoma City by 1969. In the early 70s he moved on to Omaha, NE for mornings and middays at legendary KOIL, where he was also Music Director for several years. Then it was on to Cedar Rapids, IA, for a lengthy stay as Program Director for KCRG, and later for KQCR FM. That was followed by a return to Omaha as Operations Manager for his old station KOIL, while helping launch a sister FM station, KXKT. He retired from radio for several years working the assignment desk in a TV newsroom. Tune in to Carl weekday afternoons on Gold Hits 920/WKVA!
