| (LS) As the discussion continues on how Juniata Co. is paying for brokers to invest the countyâs pension in mutual funds, Ernest Sweitzer, a concerned resident, continues to update the commissioners on his own findings. Sweitzer told the commissioners of an Associated Press article detailing a coming new law that would require disclosure of fee schedules by brokerage firms. Sweitzer stressed he was not out after anyone but was concerned for the county residents & for the commissioners stating that the county was âtreading on really dangerous waters.â The commissioners said Sweitzerâs statements would be reviews & discussed at the July 6th meeting. |
